Learn how to succeed with larger scale native wildflower plantings. Native wildflower education event for horticulture and landscape professionals and the native plant enthusiast combines a guided instructional walk through Florida native sandhill, flatwoods, wet prairie and bog wildflower plantings at Bok Tower Gardens with a classroom course reviewing the species used as well as the garden planning and installation processes. Attendees will receive the Florida Wildflower Foundation’s new 20 Easy-to-Grow Wildflowers publication and see many of the featured species in the gardens.
Renowned upland restoration expert and native plant horticulturist Nancy Bissett of The Natives will lead the walk and provide the classroom instruction. This class is an early, extended version with walk of a one-hour class to be provided later at FANN's Native Plant Show. Take it now and see the beautiful Bok gardens!
