Description
Native plants are less likely to be attacked by pests than introduced plants; however, they are not immune to pest attacks. In order to manage pests on native plants, one must be able to identify the good from the bad insects. This course will discuss identification of beneficial agents (insects and spiders) and present data on how they can be used effectively and economically to suppress pest populations.
